Lynn Hennessey

Meet Lynn, our newest addition to the calendar!

Lynn is a single mother of two teenage boys, working full time, and going to school to pursue a career in hospice care. When I asked her to describe her experience she said, "People call me Wonder Woman because I do it all!" In fact, she was actually at the YVCC campus paying her tuition when the doctor's office called her with the news that the lump she had noticed was cancerous. It was only fitting that we meet up with her on campus to take her picture. We only had about 15 minutes to get the shot in between her boys coming home from school and Lynn starting work, but it was enough!

Now, a survivor, she is passionate about the cause and getting the word out to other woman to know your body, listen to what it's telling you and don't wait! Just do it. And she is.
